As organizers of this meaningful 9-day tour, we would like to extend a warm welcome to you in Guatemala. This grand tour of Guatemala will introduce you to the homeland of Father Miguel Alvizures. At the heart of this tour is The Little Mountain School. During your stay, you will visit the school, learn about its mission, and connect with the surrounding community of Joya Honda. Above all, you will have the opportunity to get to know the wonderful children of the school that represents the heart of our work.
In addition to exploring the school and understanding the importance of our mission, you will have the opportunity to discover the cultural and touristic richness that Guatemala offers. From the charming cobbled streets of Antigua Guatemala, preserving its colonial essence, to the ancient ruins of Tikal, this grand tour will encompass a range of experiences highlighting the natural beauty and cultural heritage that Guatemala has to offer.
Moreover, you will gain insights into the fascinating process of our coffee production. You will have the opportunity to witness firsthand the journey from bean to cup, exploring the intricacies of our coffee-growing tradition.

Itinerary
- Day 1: Welcome at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City. Lodging at San Gregorio Hotel & Spa.
- Day 2: Choice of an adventurous day at Pacaya Volcano or relaxing at Santa Teresita Spa. Lodging at San Gregorio Hotel & Spa.
- Day 3: Visit Joya Honda with tours of The Little Mountain School and our Natural Coffee Farm. Lodging at San Gregorio Hotel & Spa.
- Day 4: Another day in Joya Honda. Meet with the students of The Little Mountain School. Meet with families of the community of children who study at the school. Lodging at San Gregorio Hotel & Spa.
- Day 5: Travel to Antigua Guatemala. Take the jade tour and visit the National Museum of Guatemalan Art (aka MUNAG). Lodging at Hotel Camino Real Antigua.
- Day 6: Tour of Antigua. Fly to Petén. Lodging at Hotel Camino Real Tikal.
- Day 7: Tour of Tikal. Lodging at Hotel Camino Real Tikal.
- Day 8: Tour of Flores. Fly back to Guatemala City. Lodging at Hotel Biltmore.
- Day 9: Farewell breakfast. Departure from La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.
